Thrill Me (危险游戏)
Thrill Me
Adapted by Sanwu Theatre Collective
Thrill Me is a stage adaptation by Sanwu Theatre Collective, reexamining the psychological and moral dimensions of the Leopold–Loeb case. The production introduces a structural reinterpretation by dividing Nathan Leopold into two figures—youth and old age—allowing memory, guilt, and reflection to coexist on stage. This dual portrayal deepens the narrative’s temporal and ethical tension.
Role: Nathan Leopold (Older)
Performed by Yehong Zhang
The older Nathan Leopold embodies reflection and consequence, standing in contrast to his younger self’s impulsiveness and intellectual arrogance. Through restraint and emotional distance, the role confronts the weight of memory and moral reckoning accumulated over a lifetime. On stage, the character transforms confession into quiet endurance, giving the story its retrospective gravity.
